Where do I sit within the business?
I joined Greene King about 6 months ago in September 2022. I joined as Content Creator, part of the Digital Media Production Team that sits within the Internal Communications team of the business. Greene King has over 46,000 employees so the Internal Communications team has a massive role to play. Internal Communications keeps everyone in the business informed of goings, upcoming events and news within Greene King. We do this via email or by Greene King’s internal social media platform ‘Kingdom’. My role in this is to create digital assets for both the emails and the social media page, often I will create print assets to display around the office and elsewhere as well.
Digital Media Production
As part of the Digital Media Production Team I have to take part in a wide variety of media production roles ranging from film making, post production (using tool such as premiere pro, after effects and audition), asset creation (using tools such as illustrator, photoshop and inDesign). I will often have to spend some days filming in different locations either performing live streams of different events around the company or filming short videos and films to be shown at a later date. Our filming production involves using high-level camera and production equipment to produce high quality corporate events for the business to use.
